I was experimenting with materials, namely urethane resins. Toyota katakana bolster knob wheels (moulded from an '82 oil cap). Hardness varies from shore 60-90 (car tire to hardhat hard):

As prototypes, some turned out better than others but all are acceptable IMO

I'll take two. They match my oil caps.

Several years ago I saw an ebay auction where someone in Thailand was selling these Toyota oil caps real cheap so I got a half-dozen. I don't know if he's around anymore though.
So how do I go about acquiring these bolster wheels?

Hope you like them Dave. Those you have are made from high-temp plastic urethane, edges can be sanded smooth and be polished to a high shine.

Limited stock available.

Like I said earlier, it's a match for my TeK oil cap. Sorry about the low def pics.

They stick out away from the seat a bit further than oem wheels so it might snag the shoulder harness when putting on seatbelts. No problem so far and they look good.
thank you Mr Whisker!

I'm glad you like them Dave. I've had no issues with the seat belt on mine either. You can see how they're tricky to mould...so these'll be the last.
