Hello, just bought a 1984 supra in a nice dark grey color, Very mint. Happy to be part of the supra family. However upon a few days after purchasing this car, I starting hearing a clanking from the front of the engine changing with frequency, not really pitch depending on engine rpm. Long story short I found out it's the harmonic balancer. I have yet to fully remove it as it's stubborn, but it's not only rotating about an in on the crankshaft, but it wobbles side to side as well. I have no idea what condition the woodruff key is in. These symptoms do not sound good, so I'm expecting some fab work will be required. Does anyone have a spare harmonic balancer/crankshaft pully, and/or tips on how to remove the balancer?

Thanks

There are a couple available at this time on Ebay. See the 4 holes around the crankshaft hub? Those are for a puller and if you can not obtain one it is not too hard to make one if you have a drill and four bolts with washers.

Can someone post a picture of there puller?

Crank Looks Alright. Definitely needs a new Woodruff key which is on it's way. I was concerned about the condition of the crank after I saw the wobble. I'll take a photo of it when I get the chance
