put insurance on the cressida this weekend, been driving it around a bunch to fine tune the garbage heap that it is and get ready for some skids. went for a drive with some friends and they brought their camera.

Im guessing the pick at the top of this thread from 2015 is the car without extended control arms, and the next picture next to the cressida is with the extended arms? Either way, the stance of it is the perfect look, really gives it that shakotan/kyusha look.

thats correct. in 2015 the suspension was just coilovers and rack spacers and a barely working factory diff, i didnt even get an alignment back then because of the plans i had at the time to do the suspension mods i did the next year. to be fair, the pictures next to the cressida are on a bit of a hill so the camber is a little exaggerated, its only -3.8 or so iirc in the front and -5.x in the rear

Haha. I haven't check there for a long time. I did sign up for parts/info when I was still working on my swap. I'm not too big of a fan of the aggressive community there, and I won't post nudes if they're still looking for that.

put the ZIII's on the front. put the other 9's on the back. gave the suspension a quick clean and wipe. checked tire pressures and timing (15 BTDC, so 5 advanced) still have problems finding the looped connector so I could change it...but if it stays at that timing thats fine. adjusted my seat, and changed the oil. going to drive it around and this years tasks are to put PS back in (need a custom line made) and finally get some new rotors and pads and should be good again for another billion years. i plan to skid it again at the next skid day. cressida has done 3 events so far and needs a new PS pump as mine now leaks a lot out of its main seal.

getting to be time to put insurance back on this thing and do some driving.
picked up a jz to w bell housing, so now im on the hunt for a vvti 1jz to put in here and widdle away at it.
have to finish the s13 before i go putting this car in and slowly work away at it.
im excited to start a new chapter with this car as i felt i had very few things left to do..

i do really want my sunroof to work though, so i wanna do that as well

finally hit the slopes again, even though i wasnt feeling very good, still did a number of laps and then drove er home. also going to go na 2j, as a friend of his got rear ended and we are going to make use of the bits. heres some snaps a friend took at the event. clutch pedal adjustment still needs to continue as shifting into second in the higher revs, she doesnt like..at all. even after 2 amsoil trans fluid changes.
