Setting back looking at my 83.. I have thought about selling it. Then I said no. Then again I need the money. I said no. Its just setting there. Sell it. I said no. At this point I finally decided on what to do. I will be buying a 6mge from rabid chimp, the turbo kit, springs, clutch, and what ever the heck else I can talk him into selling me. I love my car. I WILL NOT LET GO OF IT. Its time to make it walk and talk again and give the little boys with thier honda toys something to look at and wonder WTF was that?
Get in, Hold on, and dont you dare crap in my seat! Cause a few titles will be mine once again. :deal:

A wise choice.

I've had my '84 since it was 3 yrs old. Several times in the past I'd thought about selling it - but never could bring myself to part with it...it now has the 7M-GTE and I'm having more fun with it than I ever would in a new car, and I still love it...so much that I bought another MkII earlier this year.

Hey, I've went thru the same thing! Bought my '84 when it was 3 yrs old have thought about selling it several times but, thank goodness, never did. Now have 7mgte for a year and half putting down 350 rwhp. It's a blast playing with any fast cars! Over Thanksgiving day, I gave my brother-in-law who used to own '85 mk2 for a few years he bought new and he thought "Wow!". He couldn't believe how smooth, quiet (no rattling), tight, sill looking pretty new and most of all fast. Funny he asked why I'm stepping on brakes when I boost hard then back off to cruise! "Dude, it was from accelerating hard then cruise which felt like stepping on brakes!" Well, I better stop rambling.
