If you do it properly, with the correct size wire, it shouldn't matter.

Just don't do a Bubba Job with butt-crimp splices. Solder the wires and use heat shrink tubing over the splice.

Just out of curiosity, why did you go to a MAF sensor instead of sticking with the AFM?

You just swapped some of the letters around, but you got all the right letters!

Glad to help. Since it's under the hood, I'd get the adhesive lined heat shrink. Summit Racing should have it, or eBay or Amazon.
