The January 2004 edition of Practical Classics has an article covering a mk2 restoration project.

If anyone wants to read it I've scanned it and put it up on my website

If anyone wants to print it out, I can email the original scans ( 1000X1500 about 0.6M each - on the website they're 750X1000 and very compressed ). Just email or PM me.

But still...and he got the car for free  But if I had that kind of money I would spend it on my car too :)
Graham,

Thanks for scanning that article. I read it completely...very cool.

Good find!

:bigok:

No it isnt. Im not far away from that amount when im finished restoring my MKII. My figure is now 4.500 pounds. When in done im at least up to £6000 (60.000 kroners).

But it is an investment. I recon i can sell my MKII for at least £12.000 when im done. (The same price as '90 modell MR2s are sold for over here).
Awsome thanks! :greatpos:
I too have spent rediculous sums of money on Supras. Are we crazy? No more so than somebody who saves up for years and blows it all in a week on a luxury ocean cruise or my friend the golf fanatic who's on a quest to try and play all the world's most famous courses in his lifetime. At least when our money is all spent, we've still got a desireable car in the garage to leave to our kids and grandkids or future generations. What is really crazy is when your money is all gone and all you've got to show for it is a photo album and a few cheesy souvenirs.

Thanks for posting. Enjoyed the article. I just wish the US had a decent car collector magazine like PC, not dedicated to Detroit or the exotic marquees.

great article. Those pics answered a question I always wondered about. Looks like the Europe supras got different sheet metal in the rear. Euro and Jap/American taillights don't look interchangable to me.

Damn! Hes got another article up about the mk2!

Ahhh, why don't we have cool magazines here that focus on the cars that we love!

not to mention the people who drink it away, or waste their money on drug habits, or spending thousands on debateable things like tatoos and body modifications.
