I've always had to deal with mold in my boat interior. I clean everything with a cup of ammonia to a gallon of water. Kills mold instantly and its real cheap. Test an inconspicuous area first - never tried it on a supra.
I like the steam cleaner idea. I've been looking for a small spot carpet cleaner since reading this thread http://www.celicasupra.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2823 but all I can find are hard surface "steam" cleaners or carpet "hot water" cleaners. In a full size machine like you'd use for your house, there are "vapor" steam cleaners but they cost a fortune. I want a machine that I can use to "salvage" as much as possible from Supra interiors before I start buying replacements. If anyone wants to donate one of the $1000 dollar machines tho, I'll see what I can do about making the Supra Rescue Society a 501c3 for charitable tax deductions.
