Well, I'm in the process of acid washing the front frame. Got most done last night. Put the car cover over it. Well, apparently the car cover was wet, so when I uncover it this morning there's rust all over the firewall and fresh air vent area. Luckily, this is the only area. Unluckily, its the part of the engine with all the creases/valleys. AARRGGHHH!!! Nothing like doing things twice!

I've been doing some sandblasting on bluepra parts and discovered real quick that you have to prime the bare metal ASAP or it'll rust again practically overnight esp if the humidity is high. Dunno what it is about the metal they used in Supras but its almost insane how fast it'll rust. Little wonder so many have been sacrificed to rust over the years. Newer cars must have better alloy content that are more resistant to rust.
