Maybe someone has installed 6BTM to 83-85 5MGTE
Please help me to find out what is wrong with my setup

I have connected the unit exactly as msd manual says and used 8910 hei tach adapter
Engine starts okay, works ok and smooth
but as i stop it, it may not start again. I could crank it few times with no result, but after a while it starts and works okay again.
if i terminate 6BTM module (use only stock ignition) engine starts every time.

And also when 6btm connected i have strong interference with radio - it gives high frequency tones to speakers.

What might that be?

I have found on 8910 manual that we may require diod assembly to make the tach work - can such a diod help with it?

Everything was done right - all woks good when it works, including tachometer

All connections was checked carefully twice))

maybe old type of tach adapter is the point?
I have 8910 HEI
in 6btm manual stated 8910 EIS

actually i guess this is the same...

nope

with stock ignition all works

I dismantled system and found selecting loop uncut ( there are two loops that need to be cut when you select number of cylinders of engine)

i will check this in the nearest time, but i think this will change nothing.
And i am afriad i have burnt the module during my tests - maybe somebody knows where there is an internal fuse?

I tested 6BTM according manual - with tapping white wire against the ground - it was ok, after i add the tach adapter to scheme - no more spark from coil wire, than i deleted the tach ad again - and no life inside 6BTM at all((
