The white '83 in my avatar was my first car. And I miss it horribly.

It was replaced by a 1990 Buick Skylark Custom sedan, which was then traded in on my current 1994 Eagle Talon. And the Supra, despite being a decade older, was a more reliable car than either of its replacements.

Some day I will have another. The problem is, most of the ones around here have succumbed to automotive cancer.

though its a sad story how i lost my 83 it was a bit of fun. i got my 84 for only $800 with a bad motor. i then took all the good stuff off the 83 to go on my 84 so i stripped both cars down to the frame and swapped out everything i liked -- the interior dash included with all the wireing, the tale lights, door handles, rear diff 4.3 to a 4.1 (which i just broke and had to go back to the 4.3) sway bars, springs ,shocks ,struts, gas tank and pump, stereo system, stiring wheel, the holy 7mgte with intercooler , oil cooler, exhoust and all the wireing that goes with that. i did the whole swap over in about a week and didnt think to take a single pic of the job. so for $800 and a lot of work i had a new white 1984 supra. not a bad deal. o and i got screwed by the insurance company so i got nothing for the damage done to my car.

my 85 in my avatar looked almost identical to your 83 after the crash.

glad to see you have another one to house the holy 7mgte (with intercooler!)

It's a shame about your '83. Looking at that car is like looking at my own. I have the exact same body kit on my Black '82.
