Oh man, I wish. We have to get my wife a new mommy-mobile first, and then Id have to find something I can go get in a weekend. This one looks mint though and would be perfect. Im seriously thinking of saving the t56 for the na build as it will need the closer ratios more than the 2JZGTE. Firstly, we need to find a nice 04+ 4 runner v6 with tow package. Seen a few with decent miles but they are always sold before the weekend when we can go looking. Itll happen, eventually. Plus I need to downsize on the Supras. The parts car needs stripped and scrapped, and then the blue 85 will likely become a parts car once the 86 is back on the road and the 84 is in the garage. May strip and scrap the blue 85 as well as it is seriously rusty. Still runs and drives like a champ though! "old faithful" as my friends call it. lol.

Hmmm....the placement of the cap on the back of the cam shaft gives an option for EMS sequential operation...using a wheel on both crank and cam. I wonder if there is a setup like that or if it is possible?
Isnt there a nub on one of the cams? if so, you could drill a hole n the cam tower and use a cherry hall sensor to use that nub as the cam reference. Would be really easy to do. Ill have to try and remember to look at the stock cams this weekend.

Got the flange for the 50m ITB's drawn up, properly spaced for the 2JZGE. I need to get it cut in 1in thick aluminum. One side will need ported to match the ITB's, the other ported to match the oval tubing. Made the center hole slightly small so I can make sure it has a good smooth transition from the ITB to the runner.

Well, I have bought a lot more stuff for this project. I got some 45mm Webers finally, including three 45 DCOE 9's. I bought all of the stuff to rebuild them, all of the fittings and lines for SS braided fuel lines, new velocity stacks, 6AN fuel rail extrusion and fittings to make a vacuum manifold, etc... Also got a synchronizer, and an XX horn button to match my XX badges.

I also grabbed a 50lb back of sodium bicarbonate so I can soda blast the carbs after disassembly and a 30L ultrasonci cleaner so I can sonic clean them after blasting. They should look brand new once rebuilt. I still need to buy a full set of jets and emulsion tubes etc... I will start with 36mm chokes as I have a set of 6 of those already, but will try 38mm and 40mm as well. If i can find two more 45 DCOE 13's, I plan to tune one set for driveabilty, and the 2nd set for max power.
