i was wondering about what you were gonna do with the fender flares since you took off the side moldings? theres those little openings where the moldings go into the flare.
taking your time is going to produce the best results no doubt. hope it goes well for you. another thing i noticed about those flare openings for the trim is that there is a plastic/rubber gasket/seal between the flare and the body. i'd imagine to make that work you'd have to get extra lengths of it to put in place of the hole your filling.Avp23 said:yea i'm going to fill them in. i already bought the trim and it wasn't cheap :x i filed out the bump and then put the fender flare back on the car and put some type of cerand rap or even paper behind it and then just fill in the open'ness. then after it dry's i take it off and start to work with it. man, its hard. i also had to make a lip just like the rest of the fender flare so that the trim would fit on it. good luck to u. i got so tired of doing it and im a perfectionist so after the 1000 hours that i already put in its going to be profesionaly done. im lazzy i guess. : :drinking:
