Nope you will lose low end power, better off using 2.25 or 2.5" unless going to turbo the beast then you want 3"

You'll lose some low end grunt even with a header. I went from 2.5 to 3" exhuast on my 6M and lost a little grunt from down low. The only reason I went with 3" is my plans to use it with a turbo in the future.
