Alright guys so before I start, yes I’m an idiot so don’t worry about calling me one but I need help, I had my alternator go out and on a mostly stock mk2, and replaced it today, now that I’ve replaced it there’s no electricity to the car and I found another wire that’s not connected that I can’t finds home that runs from the same area,I do have pictures

That’s the oil pressure sender wire. The alternator only has one main lead and one plug.

My first thought is to check the fusible links over at the battery terminal.

Alright cool I’m gonna see if I can figure out reconnecting it then, any more info you can give cause I can’t find where it goes and it only has about a foot past the alternator

The sensor is a silver color sensor on the side of the block. It’s about 6 inches back from oil filter.
