Well i just blew the engine in one of my Supra's... my new one, apparently the Previous Owner had some fun with her. Anyway, i was wondering if i put new bearings and rings in an engine do i need to replace the oil pump? Or should i just run through the checks in the TSRM and if mines in spec go ahead and reuse my old one?

Thanks Guys

I would replace the oil pump, well unless if you are fond of tearing the engine apart multiple times.

I wouldn't replace the oil pump just for the sake of it. Tear it down, clean and run fresh oil through it. No reason it would fail if cleaned out. Not that many moving parts inside an oil pump.
