instead of nos use acet/oxygen injection. make it a little oxygen rich to replace displaced oxygen and get it tuned right and you could have a badass explosion in the cylinder. gonna try it with an old briggs 3 horse. then if that works on my gokart.

Oxycetaline burns much hotter than fuel, you'll burn a hole through the pistons over a period of time. This is why folks use nitrous, it burns clean and much colder, at least that's what I remember about n02...
You can also say goodbye to anything resembling performance...
When I was in the Marines, most of our new Patrol cars were Ford Corwn Vic with the Police package and the CNG powered engine... The mileage on them sucked ass, they couldn't get out of their own way they were so slow, and even top end was less than most stock Civic DX's. While I think alternative fuels are a good idea in general, for a performance increase, your gonna be sorely disappointed.
Oh.. and the big erason you don't see liquid O2 burnt in case, is the fact that it doesn;t burn. It explodes. It needs to be mixed with something else (in the case of Nitrous, it's 1 part O2 to 2 parts Nitrous) to keep it stable.

the whole point is to have an explosion. if gasoiline and oxygen just burnt you wouldn't have much power from the engine. it's a controlled explosion. besides i've been wanting to kill that bitchass 3hp engine anyways cuz it burns oil and they grow on trees here.
if gasoline and oxygen burn more badass i'm gonna start using carbureted air in my baloons instead. rip an oven into 4 peives instead of the two peices and the door going 200 feet away from it. instead of the usual 100 feet with oxy/acet.(these are just normal party baloons filled about halfway)
only problem with filling a baloon with atomized gasoline is if any of the gas in the air condenses it'll instantly pop the baloon. i've always wanted to use a carb with a forced air pump on it to make a badass flame thrower i've just never made it.
i'll test it. then if i like the results and the engine runs okay off it for a lil while i'll try it in an old shitty 50 dollar v-8 or something. i'm not getting my hopes up tho i think the pure oxygen/acetalyne/gasoline mixture will blow the headgasket before i can freerevv it to anything higher then 6k.

Liquid oxygen is compressed eight hundred times it's volume as a liquid compared as to when it is a gas. The expansion from liquid to gas (I forget the chemical term) at normal room temprature is enough to make things go bang. We used take small plastic 600ml Coke bottles and put 10ml of liquid oxygen into them. Close the cap, shake and throw.....BANG! This will shake a building if done inside. I know we did it one day and scared everyone.
If you burn anything in pure oxygen the combustion temprature will be so high it will melt the top of your piston.

It's been done many times with no fatal results.The fact remains,even with jet propulsion,a car will only go as fast as the aero-dynamics will allow.
Myth busters on TV has done it,and also one of the mopar collector mags did it,both with same results.The get gets to its max speed,maybe a bit more than with just it's engine,just gets there faster.The mopar guys did hit a dip in the road and get airborn,but didn't fly but maybe 50 feet.

i don't think i'll be getting a darwin award. if i did this it'd be like a 50ft cord tied to the governor with the torch stuck in the carb unlit or something. i've had plenty of experience blowing shit up and being stupid with high explosives. but you know. it's the stupid people that end up dying. the people that say "oh this gun isn't loaded" **points gun to head and pulls trigger to prove point** and in reallity there was one live bullet in the gun that didn't come out with the clip.
if that engine blows it'd have to blow totally badass to hurt anyone that'll be with me. i always stand on the output shaft side of the engine so anyflying parts usually go to the left and right of the engine lol!!
