Hi everyone, just thought I'd welcome myself to the forum. I've just recently aquired my '86 supra, although i'm told its an 85.5.
I'm from the gta area in ontario, where's everyone else from?

No youre probably right its an 86. Does it have a 3rd brake light in the spoiler? There is no such thing as an 85.5 there is an 86.5 which is the first of the third gen cars. The new model wasnt quite ready so they continued the MK2 into the first half of 86.

it is considered as an 86 for the third brake light but actually it is a 85 car due to the late and delay of production of the MK3... well just for shet and giggles... check the year of production of the car at the door jam then it will tell you what year it is produced..... if it is produced after 8/84 then it is a 85 car... then if it is 8/85 then it is a 86..... and if this statement is to be wrong please correct me :wink:
