A car magazine over here called "Bilsport" invited our club www.toyotaclubsweden.com to take the infamous :lol: "SuperStage" benchmark. Usually there is a professional rallydriver driving all the cars to even out the "human factor", but we had 40 cars present, so we did our own driving.. It was very fun so I can't complain about that hehe..

Kristian got the fastest time of the day. 1minute 39s.
Most Supra MKIII's seemed to get times around 1:45 hehe..

I watched ALL of them last night. Downloaded the Divx player and codec. Turns out I didn't need it, Win Media player 9 already had all the right codecs installed.

Very very cool videos...loved the music during the run that you made in your Mk2. Good job...was fun to watch!

Good stuff. You don't have a MkIV vid, do you? I'd be interested in seeing how one did.

There was unfortunately only one MKIV present this occasion. (auto) I'll look around a bit if I can find some footage.

I know of one MKIV that has done the "superstage" course in 1minute 27 seconds. (compared to my time of 1:45 ) It had an almost stock chassis, but the engine had some 700 crank hp. The magazine "Bilsport" reported that they had never seen any car go thru the gates as wide and with tires smoking.

I used 2nd gear in the 2 most tight turns. In the "bonus clip" in the end where I almost lost it, I tried to experiment a bit with tire pressures. (did not turn out that well, my experiments.. 8) )
