Are you on SCONZ?
http://www.supras.org.nz?

There are a few of us here too, but more likely to meet people at the NZ club.

Where abouts in NZ? When you say P-type do you mean NZ-new Mk2? The only Mk2's with the flares and 14x7's are NZ-new, and as you can imagine not many were sold in NZ. I have owned mine for 2 1/2 yrs and only ever seen one other NZ-new like mine.

Hey, i was wondering how many MKII supra fans in this forum are from New Zealand?
As Andy (spud3861) said, there are a few about - you have to look for them though. The Supra Club Of New Zealand is more about the Mk III but there are still quite a few Mk IIs in there.

Also, does anyone know why it seems to be impossible to find a P-type Supra in New Zealand :?
The P-type is rare-ish in NZ; I was told at one stage only 70 or 75 ever came into New Zealand. I think people are now realising how "rare" a car it is and may be holding on to them.....

And where are you situated????

PS... Nice avatar :D

I havn't got any pics of my car at the moment, its just a stock L-type import. I got it for $700 at auction with a screwed motor, just put in a standard '84 2.8 in it which is in top condition, its done just over 4000k and the oil is still clean. As soon as i can find some P-Type flares, rims and spoilers i'll get it painted since the body seems to be rust free.
I'll post some pics soon.

I think you may have to get the P-type front guards as well as the flares. There is a slight difference in their shape but the rears are the same, L-type or P-type (just bolt on the flares). There is a guy in the Supra Club of New Zealand, Ewan Paterson, who has some moulds for the flares and can possibly help out when the time comes.

If I can help in any way, just drop me a pm.

David
