Calling all mk2s! We're having another Mk2 Mini Meet @ fellow mk2 guru Damon Saul's place in Quakertown, PA on Saturday, Nov 15th. Plan to arrive between 11am-12pm as we have a group lunch, then hang @ Damon's shop for a few hours. Always lotsa laughs and plenty of nice cars!

I don't have the time to keep my car as clean as I would like it, just too busy on other things thses days. I only drive the car 5000 km a year anyway.

Also every time we seem to get the MKIIs out it rains.

I'll have to squeeze some time and clean mine up a bit if I drive down.

If all goes well, I'll be bringing my 85 Celica GT with the recent addition of dual 45 DCOE's. Hopefully I'll have a chance to get them tuned before the meet. I can't bring the Supra, it's hardly street legal, but I will bring in-car videos of the hillclimbs I ran this year with it.

Dude it'll be at least a 6 hour drive from burlington. If you go it'll be 4 over night :drink: And have fun overnight.

RSDEO: in all fairness, this is a really informal gathering to just hang and have some laughs for a few hours. There are no planned activities except maybe lunch at the nearby bar. We'll have some truly gorgeous mk2 's here, but I'm not sure it justifies an overnight stay. If you can maybe combine it with a little road trip with the Mrs (or your buddies) that might work.

Don't get me wrong, we'd love to have you come. Damon's shop is located in East Greenville which is just outside of Quakertown, PA 18951.

any idea on a number attending? I'd love to drive out east....... but for 10 hour drive, its gonna hafta be pretty dang good! Not to mention I'd hafta skip class.......wow....all the scarifices I make for my Supra. But yeah, Id love to come! Of course, if no one minds a complete stranger showing up. 8) Id hafta get my tank fixed though.....stopping every 150 miles for gas sucks! Ill go to Toyota tomorrow and get the seal.

I did not want to stay overnight and I might be working anyway, back to my old schedule (I usually work weekends and have weekdays off). I was just trying to maximize my Supra time with weekends off for a while.

Supraman18... please see my last post. I'm expecting 8-10 ppl so far, with as many mk2s showing up so far. Of course I cant promise everyone will show. Maybe more will??? Also, we do this a few times a year informally - nothing is planned - we just hang out @ the shop and look for trouble/talk smack. We usually eat lunch the the bar down the street too.

I probably wldnt drive 10 hrs to do this myself, but we'd love to meet you if you game.

awesome. Im game, my dad may even decide to make the trip. Can't wait. I'll be there as long as nothing major goes wrong...... I'm pretty sure the list of possibilities is VERY small now. Seems like I have replaced everything but the car itself. So add me to the list of attendees! The most MKII's Ive seen at any given time, besides my drive way(up to 4 at one time), is 2, Mine and the one I found and parked by, lol, so 8-10 will be heaven...to say the least! I'm really looking forward to it! You do know the car I'm gonna bring, right? or do U need some pics? I think you'll like it.
