Hi all

I'm Andy S from Christchurch NZ. You may have been to my 7MGTE Conversion website.

Anyway, I plan to be in USA from early December '03 till April '04.
I can go anywhere and do anything.

I will be on a student J-1 working visa which allows me to work for this time.

I would like to travel around after working for 3 months or so and meet up with a number of you and see your Supras and home towns.

I need a job so if any of you have any suggestions of temp agencies, good places to try or even know of a place i could work, then plese feel free to reply.

BTW I am a college graduate in Business and Law.

Cheers
Andy S

Andy,

Not sure if I can help out on the Job front or not. However, the temporary service that Honeywell uses throughout the US is Manpower. I'm sure they must have a Website. They are one of the major national groups, you might try contacting them, letting them know what your plans are and where you would like to be and see if they can help you out. I'll check with my Division, we use a lot of Temp. workers. The only issue here might be that you are a foreign national. Since I work at a defense location, the rules are a bit different.

You'll have to make it to the Southwest durning your trip so I can collect on all the brewskis you owe me. Inside joke folks, sorry 8)

AOL has a national call center here in Albuquerque as well. They are always looking looking for people. (assuming your standards aren't too high)

I can understand why you wouldnt rather come to Canada Andy. December to mid March are rather unbearable. If you make it to any of the upper eatern states, let us know. Lots of warm cozy garages up here. Have a few of your countrymen working out of Toronto airport right now. There doing the retrofit of baggage handling equipment and the name of the company is GLIDEPATH Industries. I think they are in HQ in AKL. Give them a ring and see if they have anything happening in the states. Good luck
