Nice. With any luck it will be clean and not in a property dispute.

Nothing wrong with free guns, provided they arent dirty:thumbsup:

ha ha....you have got to be kidding me right ??

Called the PO of the truck, he is bummed out....going to cost him $100 + to get it back, but willing to do it without question.

Dude... if you don't want that, I will glady take it off your hands. You are a pussy if you turn it into the cops... cuz one of them is just going to keep it for themself.

Well don't rob a fucking 7-11 and you will be fine. What is this guy a career criminal? How would the cops know you have it (other than the fact its on the internet now)? Cops have no idea what guns I have except for the registered ones, since I don't commit crimes, it seems to me its a non-issue

I'd say turn it in. If it's legit and is the PO's, he's still gonna report it lost or stolen. Only thing you could really take advantage of and not get into any possible trouble is to sell it. Do you really wanna take the risk of that gun. Try explaining to the cops (if there is some history to the gun) that it was the previous owner's, and how you got it. You'll never win.

I found a crack pipe or something like that in the glove box of my engine donor mkii.
I was only concerned with the under-hood parts anyway. Once I got the 6mgte out, the rust bucket got scrapped.

Seeing that pipe sure made my stomach turn though...

I found a box of Shotgun shells in a Suburban. Not the entire gun though. Fishing lures, a couple DVD's (Yukon had a TV).

well i work at a car rental place fixing and detailing the cars and i have found lots of crap.. the cops used our cube truck one time to haul some drugs to be burnt, it came back with about 2 pounds of pot in the back of it.. lots of pot in cars. spent shot gun shells... the car itself had bullet holes in it. ummm ilegal tobacco. porn mags and dvd's and a blow up sex doll still in its package THANK GOD! hotwheels cars. peoples wallets. break-up letters <---- flipping hillarious! lots of un-opened food and drinks, three week old big mac in the glove box.. the list goes on and on. the funniest was the break up letter and directions to a hookers hotel room. included room number and phone number...yikes!! some people are nuts!

So it still looked fresh yeah?

I agree! I was thinking the same thing! lol
People acting like its a crime to own a gun. Or to keep one thats unregistered.
I thought that was a crime... haha
I bought one off a cook at my second job a few years ago and I'm still not 21.
But I also locked it away and haven't even opened the case.

The best thing I found in a car was a repair receipt. I bought a car with supposely under 100K. After checking it out, found a maintenance receipt under the passenger seat showing over 200K miles. Called the used car lot and told them what I found. He said to bring it back for full refund. Good thing, the wheels bearings started making noise. Drove it for a week, put 1000 miles on it, and returned it. Got my full refund.

It's not the fact of owning a gun, it's trying to explain to the cops, I didn't kill that guy. I don't know what you're talking about. You think they don't hear that all the time.

I can care less if you register it or not, won't be yours anymore when it gets confiscated.
