The oil plate block you are talking about is not usable for the reason of that is a pressure side of the oil pump... the best way is to get the kit from aaron garney at http://www.rabidchimp.com and drill the oil pan or get a -10an steel and weld it on the oil pan so that you don't have to worry about gaskets for the oil drain
