I have looked and waded through searched topics on this and the Supraforums.

A lot of them briefly touch what I need answered but none I can find are correct with the info.

1. I have some oil in the intake pipes before the throttle body. I have not checked the lower pipes to see if there is a build up. Is this a definite Seal problem on the turbo or could it be my second question?

2. The catch can is it something I can just empty? Where is it located? This is probably dumb but I am 2 days into having this motor so far so it’s pretty new to me.

Lastly does someone have the Service Repair manual on CD here for the MKIII? I didn’t see an ad in the for sale section but would be interested in one so I can do some of this myself.

Thanks again.

Oil in the intake is normal. Catch can is aftermarket option you can install. Works good. Put one on my 91T and had to move things around a little on passenger side fender well to fit.

Oil in the IC pipes and intake is perfectly normal with the 7mgte. The oil can come from several places. One being the PCV system routed to the turbo inlet. The second can come from the turbo seals. Even if the turbo seals are leaking it's really not nessary to replace them unless you're seeing blue smoke out the tail pipe. Mine have been leaking for about six months now.

Josh picked up an '88, so I would think he would be looking for the '88 TSRM, although I don't know how much different it is than the '90 TSRM.
