Does anyone have an orange supra? I'm considering painting my 84 orange this spring, either datsun orange or the new Nissan orange, and I'd like to see what it would look like. Has this even been done before? Post pics if there are any.

Nick...i would bet Zank's left nut that nobody here owns an orange mk2....cause if they did, we'd do everything in our power to ensure they were :banned: :shock:
Belie me...i've seen one, you just don't want to go there. :throwup: comes to mind everytime i see it. Now we fully understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but seeing you're asking ours...I'm just gonna flat out tell you it's fugly....so snap out it...and think of another color.

Unless I'm colour blind...that aint orange...it's got more bronze in it than orange. You really want to see orange. I'll show ya....are you ready...

No, not THAT color.... Think BRIGHT neon Orange!!!! Like George mentioned, the MKIV in the Fast & The Furious is a good example.
And yes, I DO know which color orange you're talking about!!! 20 years ago, my Dad bought a 76 Datsun B210 hatchback that myself & my siblings had to share.. And it was that Datsun/Nissan Orange.....

Yeah that color bronze was what I meant when I said the new nissan orange, it's pretty much the same as the 350z shade.
But yeah, I think I snapped out of it....besides I don't know how long I could live with an orange car, after the novelty of having something different wears off.

I would say go with the Blue that came on the IS300's :drool: *here is a pic of a mk2 with that blue*
It's nice but it I pretty much made up my mind on dark metallic charcoal, same color as on this NSX http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/General/colors/dark-charcoal.gif
(it's the only car that came up on a google search of the color)

no no, you want Hemi Orange, and a big 01 on the doors, and a confederate flag on the roof and and....
Ok, maybe not, but man you guys are harsh! Theres some nice oranges out there. Didn't the turbo mr2s come in a kind of a redy darker orange? It looked pretty good, not my first choice in color but not too bad. That metalic orange on the mk2 looks pretty good too, not sure if its the same one that comes on some hondas and the NSX, but that colour I'm thinking of looks pretty neat too.
