It's probably one of Russ' plates he had on that craptastic v8 project. It probably fell off from the bolts rusting through before anything to do with acceleration was involved. :naughty: :mfinger:

just think'n out loud here...

In Texas at least, for cars 25 years and older, you can register a car with plates that are correct for the year and displaying an expiration date of the year of manufacture of your vehicle. If that style plate was correct for 84, you could obtain an expiration sticker for 84 from antique plate dealers who go around to swap meets. Often they will have expiration stickers if you ask. Otherwise, still cool to hang on the garage wall.

ah OK... now I see someone actually bought it for $41 bux.

Thanks Bill.

no worries, I just wanted another wall decoration.

a few years ago, I accidently found (and bought) a Montana 84TOY plate on ebay... ironic since thats my legitamite NJ plate for my blupra.

I think I have a couple other "supra" variation plates on the ole garage wall.

pretty sad that I dont remember.
