Thanks for the kind words guys. The lights are blacked out on the rear and on the side markers and the front.
I have never had any problems with the police yet but they may not like my angel eye blue headlights.

Well you are meant to paint the inside of the lens but I could not get mine apart due to rusty screws so I masked the body work and sprayed to outside. I can't remember the name of the paint but you should be able to get it from any auto store.

:)

Yea, i am doing the same thing to my supra. i just welded on a new rear quarter panel. then im gettin it painted complete white like yours. i took off the stripe, and puttyed the holes, so when its done it should look pretty bad ass.
I posted some old pics of right before i put on the new panel. I still need to post the new ones, these are from adout 2 months ago.

I bet the rear quarter panel cost you shed loads. I had a price for mine on the driver side (UK) car to eliminate the rust from the petrol cap and from behind the arches but Toyota wanted over £450 pounds plus VAT on top of that, so i did not bother. I had most of my rear quaters cut out and replaced with new metal. You talking about removing the side strips has made me think again on doing mine. I was going to do this in the first place but decided against it because of other cars damaging the doors in car parks. I think it would look better without them. I will see how much work and cost is involved in doing this .
I look forward to seeing your car after it's painted.

I bought the quarter panel at a junk yard for $100 i dunno what that would be in pounds. but its pretty cheap. and they cut from mid roof down to about the middle of the spare tire holder then straight across. that way i could have the peice that holds the tail lights and the hatch laches to. i have a pic of the hole thing right after i bought it. i'm gonna update my pic folder later today. i have pics of the new quarter panel welded on and puttyed. and hey, howd you do the tail lights like that and whered you get the side skirts?

I painted the lights with a special paint. You just spray on a couple of coats and thats it. I ordered the side skirts out of a Performance BMW magazine. They were about £80.00 which was quite cheap I thought. They were not to easy to install though. The guy who did it made some brackets to fit under the car to support them, and the rest was just filled where they needed it.
