Hi guys. Here it is. The 3" cat-back for turbo kidz. Like the subject line says, all mandrel bent, with Magnaflow 304 polished SS can. I'll get pricing info together shortly. This exhaust is setup for a car w/longer cat. Ever hear a Mk3 w/ Apexi N1? Thats what this should sound like.

Let me know what you folks think.

This is awesome! Will you also be selling this exhaust system without a muffler? Do have an idea of what shipping on this might be to east coast?
Thanks,
holy crap! now i really wish i was turbo.

hey aaron; when is the 2.5" for us N/A guys gonna be ready??

Great work!
are you going to make a version with an inline glasspack? i like my car quiet.(keeps the sleeper look)

This is a great idea, but I figured that you could just get one welded in. Then you could also pick the one you want. Depending on clearance it shouldn't be a big deal.
yea ive seen the pics, but im just wondering when its gonna be finished and ready for purchase
I'm still working (taking too much time, agreed) on finding a suitable muffler. The first one I used looked great, but sounded like Mike Malloy's Ghetta..er..um...Jetta. I want to use twin tips, but not have a muffler that costs a bundle. As stated previously, I'd go with the Magnaflow, but the inlet is 2.25" If nobody has a problem with this, I'll order a Magnaflow with 2.25" inlet, and get back to work on it.

honestly i wouldnt have a problem with that, the magnaflow mufflers are very nice looking and sounding
well I'm good in the exhaust department now so my opinion doesn't really count but I just went through a whole bunch of work to convert my entire exhaust system to 2.5 inch piping. Putting 2.25 muffler on just seems like a step forward then one back. Unfortuanly my 2.5 inch Ultraflow is loud as hell, I need to add a resonator, I've got a nasty buzz. :(

Adding a resonator such as Dynomax Race Bullet after the cat would help alot. That what I'm using along with Dynomax UltraFlow out back. All 3" thruout. They're amazingly quiet (no drone). HTH
Hey aaron,

what would you charge for just the portion from the cat back minus the muffler? so basically just the piping. I am going to be making my own downpipe but the rest of it just looks sooo damn nice

Yep, thats what I did this weekend. A dynomac glass pack resonater. Worked like a charm, I love my exhaust note now. Beautiful idle, sounds great under load, and its just quiet enough for cruising as to not get tiresome. I wouldn't have needed it had I sprung for a decent muffler up front, but I got this one for free so I can't complain. It has no perferations at all, its just a solid straight pipe.
That exhaust is beautiful. Now I am torn between the Chimp and the JK cat-back. Looks like price and availability will make the decision.
Hey Aaron, any new info on availability? I have $$$ and need an exhaust now.
Thanks,
Hi guys. The price for the 3" cat-back system will be $429, plus shipping. With this system, you will receive gaskets, hardware, and polished 304 stainless steel magnaflow muffler. Cya!

2.5" exhaust systems available as well. Currently, I'm having customers choose their magnaflow muffler of choice http://www.magnaflow.com and going from there.
