 :ghey: Don't worry, its just the color of the ppg primer I used but all wet like that it looked like it was painted pink. Thought some might get a kick out of seeing a pimpin' pink mk2. :)

8) wow! The primer looks very shiny-and pink doesn't go with the car. What color are you planning for? Looks like it's fully stripped; painting the engine bay too?

When Phil takes the car into Cuco's, it will be reshot in the original Dark Blue Metallic.

Anybody want a restored 84 when it's done????

Whats funny about this is that, my 4 year old Daughter asked me to paint my Supra pink.

OK Superium, I RESEMBLE your statement; "Velvet interior" b/c that's exactly what I'm doing to mine. I've already redone both door panels, shift boot and center console armrest in black crushed velvet ( actually crushed velour, same difference but cheaper ) And the fact that I'm a girl don't mean squat, everybody loves what it looks like, even the guys ;)~

Tanya,
I have the interior from a black 83 L-type here in my garage. Totally black, crushed velour. No stripes on the seats. Door panels also have black crushed velour where most P-types have the striped fabric portion. I think it looks great! I'm not a big fan of the stripes....
And no, the interior parts are not for sale. They'll be going into a black Mk2 that I'm sure I'll own someday.

Please post some pics of your work-in-progress!

Yeah, Tanya, I'd like to see pictures of the interior work in progress!
