Hey guys and gals,

FB has stolen many away from here, but has proven useful as well. I have created a registry there to see how many known MK2's are still floating about, and try to document those that have gone to the grave. Check this out, and please add yourself to the list. I will be sifting through the list and posting up interesting factoids from that ( like highest and lowest mileage currently) so keep an eye on it. I'll do ma best to migrate all that info over here for the inevitable day that FB completely shits the bed, so it won't be lost. Plus, I have all the data on a spready in my puter.
Here's the page:

And here's the Google Doc link:

Phil - are there any plans to make the dataset viewable? It's not particularly engaging to enter in information about your car, hit submit... and get zero feedback on where the info is going. Perhaps some trends or stats? a simple dashboard?

also, hell yes aerocabin!

I was thinking I had already put mine in. Getting old is hell, you can't remember anything. Would be nice to be able to search if its already there.

A dashboard might be in the cards someday, but for now, I'll create a spreadsheet image with only partial Vin's, location and production dates. What else do you want to see?

Your drop down for the paint codes indicates 3D1 "Super Red" as an 82-83 color. My '84 has 3D1 as the paint code, and it is definitely "Super Red".
