If you are ever considering to repaint your Supra (and do it correctly as Supras are finally selling for enough to justify the cost), then you would want to replace this as there is a significant chance of damaging the old, dried out one while removing it for paint. But particularly it should be replaced if one has rust bubbles around the edge of their sunroof which must be cut out and a repair patch welded in. You don't want to re-use the old seal because the reason for those rust bubbles is that the original seal got old and failed to keep moisture from getting actually underneath the seal itself. If your Supra is excellent to mint condition and only being driven in fair weather, then this might not be the kind of spare part you want taking up storage space. But for the majority on this forum, I bet their Supra really needs this part.
