If you can find a turbo and manifold from a M-TEU, that will bolt right on. I doubt there is an aftermarket kit available, and even if there was, it would have gone out of production long ago.

Can be done, but I would STRONGLY recommend that you find some sort of metal head gasket for this motor!!!! The 5ME is known for having really bad BHG problems (almost on par w/ 7M's), but it's not as bad as 4ME's, and 5M/6MGE's.

Somone had done a Turbo 5ME (Kevin in AUS), and has had 2 BHG's. Has now gone to a Turbo 6MGE I believe???

Kevin turboed a 5m-ge in the end. Trying to turbo the 5m-e was getting to be an expensive excercise for him ;)

IMO it's not worth it. It'll be much worse than the 7m bhg problem that everyone harps on about, at least it's fairly easy to fix that.
