Hello,
Just recently I was having a problem with a bad noise from the back brakes. Yesterday I pulled the tire to find the rear driver inside pad was cracked. I just put them on in September and they already cracked. Good thing they have a warranty on them. But they are the Albany D240 pads. I also had the middle metal clip damaged so I took that out. Is there any reason why I need that clip? I own an '83 no major mods except put in a later model 5MGE (rebuilt) and W58 tranny from an '85.
