EBAY

I heard the dealerships charge around $100 each for the green TSRM's.

So a cheaper route can be ebay if you can find the specific year you'll save more than half I heard. But I don't think they're too easy to come across on ebay.

I just found a CD w/alot of Supra stuff for just $10, heh, maybe cheaper than I thought.

Ed, Haynes did have a 82-86 Manual (now out of print) , check eBay or other book sources. You should be able to find a nice copy for under $10.

For Factory repair manuals check below, 81s (early 82s) had seperated engine, chassis and electrical manuals, the rest had the Big Green Book "TSRM" and a seperate electrical manual. Expect to pay $$$ from the dealers below unless you can find a set on eBay.

Other choice is go CD check eBay.

NO NO no....The Haynes manuel might be out of print but it is still available in every Advance auto , Pepboys, Autozone I've been in. Believe I've almost bought it again because my first one has " stains and smudges".......LOL

I think Arch is right, the new Haynes that are out now is for all models besides the Mk IV. It says from 79' to 92' on mine, and published in 92'. Arch said 82' to 86' for the Mk II only, I would like to get that one if there was a manual like this before :? I'm thinkin this must be the Haynes before the year 92'?

My Chiltons says from 71'-85 Celica/Supra. Also like the current Haynes I don't need most of whats in there. But a good reference for interchangable stuff :)
EDITED
Yup, Arch is right :) here it is. And they call it Rare Supra manual.

Ooh!! An old Chiltons

I'll buy a few and "give" them to you guys if you are having that much trouble finding them, but I'm telling you just go to your local discount store and look.

I outbid em

Thanks for that offer, and I had no idea they sold old ones too :?
I had to outbid 4 others last night on ebay and I won :D I feel lucky, I was willing to go $8.00 + $3.50 s+h. But they started at $1 bids. No buy me now price and I had no patience :x

I saw it at $4.50 the night before last  And theres one more on ebay right now at 2 bids and $2.75, but thats for another 4 day wait.

Don't even get me started about Chilton manuals. Half the stuff in there isn't even related to mk2 supras. The stuff that is is the most absurdly vague instructions. And the pictures (when they have pictures that actually pertain to our cars) are for the most part obviously ripped from the TSRM. It is (slightly) better than nothing, and between it and the TSRM its not too bad. I'm pretty lucky in that, since I have an 85, the 86 TSRM is a perfect match. I think I'll go pick up a Haynes manual tomorrow...

Check the used/discount book stores for a Haynes 82-86 Celica Supra.

Or check eBay, don't pay more than $8-$10.
