Courtesy of Paul from England on the MkII Yahoo list:

------------------

Just to let you all know that I got my copy of the Toyota Supra
Performance Portfolio 1982-1998 today.

It contains 6 articles on the mk2
Car & Driver Oct 1981
Road & Track Feb 1982
Autosport Aug 1982
Car & Driver May 1983
Modern Motor Dec 1983
Autocar Oct 1984

Some of it I haven't seen before so was refreshing to read. Like I
suspected, most of the paperback book is devoted to the Mk4. So Mk2/3
makes about 1/2 the books 136 pages and the rest Mk4.

If you want to order it, the ISBN is :1-855-20636-6 Published by
Brookland Books of England. www.brooklands-books.com

Cost UK£12.95 or about US$21.00

no offence, but lets just think a second here...
if they go and publish a book about supras, and they find out that its being freely distributed online... how likely do you think itll be that they want to produce another book about supras?

yes, im exagerating, but you know what im getting at... its good for companies to make money sometimes.

that argument works for piracy of all formats. Lets just leave that subject alone, peoples attitudes towards piracy just pisses me off.

Thanks for info Steph! Looks like I need to make a trip to the bookstore.

Guys, the better book by Brooklands is:

66-86 Road & Track on Toyota Sports Cars, 100 pgs of articles compiled by Brooklands $16.95 available at www.books4cars.com

Not sure if this is out of print or not?? I have bought a number of items from this site and have found them to have great service. Unfortunately their prices for TSRMs have gone up

Is it possible to get stateside? B&N shows nothing for that ISBN. Shipping from England nearly doubles the price of the book.
