Jim,
Is it at all possible to get in on this buy now, 21 July?

Helped a friend install a full suspension on his AE86 this weekend a liked the benefit of the RCA's. How much will this 30mm spacer raise the front end with lowering springs? Say, if the springs lower the front end one inch, will these then raise it back up 0.125-0.25 inch? Don't want to have a lowered suspension all around then install RCA's and have the car looking like it's pulling a wheely if raised too much.

Late as usual.
Scott
It wont raise the suspension. The wheel is part of the strut housing. The RCA goes under the strut housing between it and the lower control arm, so no height adjustment occurs.

Oh duh. I should have seen that. Thanks. It just took that swift kick into my dumb ass to visualize it again.

Hey, I'm a natural blond.

Whats happenin' now? (i'll reserve DY-NO-MITE for when they ship)

Disturbingly, I saw Mr. DY-NO-MITE himself has appeared on the ever nostalgic "star dates" TV program [shiver]
I contest their assesments of certain people as actual "stars" (not him though — he's the real deal)

Sten
Currrent status:

Still looks like mid-August.
Status: They are done!

I'll be picking them up next week sometime after Wednesday.
Sweet! I'll be waiting impatiently by my doorstep for it :D

Exited!!

Cool, I have new Eibachs and Tokicos to install all at once... now need proper bushings pressed in and do it all at once.
Any sugestions? ( I am just learning the names for those front parts)
Do a search in the Suspension Forum on Bushings, you will find everything you need. You can buy the a la carte or as a set from PST.
Status.

I picked them up. Looks nice.

However, the lower mount holes are a shade too small.

Tops fit like a glove....

He's re-milling the holes, so I should have them back
in the next week.
Updated Status:

They re-machined the lower holes and they are now at
the anodizing shop.

I should be able to pick them up Monday, 15 September.
Picked them up today.

Will post pics this weekend and ship out Monday.

(busier than a one armed, one legged paper hanger)
Jim, any extra RCAs? Or are they all spoken for?

Thanks,
:bling:

Attention RCA group buy guys.

I have determined that finding 12mm x 1.25 x 70mm bolts grade 10.9 or better is difficult. Only certain suppliers have them.

Recall that the price *did not* include bolts.

This leaves two options.

I buy bolts, you need to send me $17US.

I ship them with no bolts, and you are to fend for yourself.

PM me if interested in buying bolts, or if you have found a supplier.
I exhausted mine.

To the Northwest RCA guys:

If you're not sure where to get your bolts, I had to buy 10 so I have 6 extra (1 set) with lock washers. I paid about 4 bucks for a bolt and washer. I'd go with the bolts from TTT. 10 bucks for the four is a steal!

If anyone is intrested in my extra set, I'll get rid of it for $20 shipped.

Nick
re: RCAs

Any pictures of these items mounted yet? How about feedback on how well they are working in actual use by some of the people who purchased them? Thanks,

Sonny
