What up everyone, itz me again, i have a new question for you guys concerning body kits- Like i've said before i search and search and search and all i can find is the same erebuni kit, and a kaminari every now and then...the other day i was looking through the gallery section here on celica-supra and i found something that really grabbed my attention, they're really rounded around the fender flare area and i dont know where they got it, one of them is an MKII Supra, the other one is a celica, take a look...

~THIS IS THE SUPRA~

~THIS IS THE CELICA~

I think this is the coolest thing you could do to the body and i've never seen a body kit like that offered, if any of you out there know how this was done, please share and let me know, or at least what this body styling is called, Thanks a lot- §hadow[/url][/b]

The Celica looks alot like the Dan Gurney's All American Racers Celicas he campaigned in IMSA GTU/GTO in the mid 80's.

Check the media page there might be pics there. Mr. Mallory does have press kits for the IMSA Celica as do I and Greg G.

You can check with www.Toysport.com for body kits, the last time I looked they still listed kits for sale.

Yeah, way too ricey for my tastes. I've always thought that the MkII was one car that didn't NEED a body kit - the design was nice enough as is.

My $0.02 (US) worth....!

Too nice! It looks like a cheap imitation of an 81 Capri which was already an imitation of a Mustang.

ooooooooo, tough crowd huh? lol, iz all good, thats why i came to ask you guys rather then anyone else, who else to trust with these cars? lol, the reason i want that is because i want my Supra to be different from the Generic MKII Supras, my dads old ones where all stock and i wanna be different- but heres the real reason- theres a guy down the street with an MKII, fully stock and clean, and he always comes by and shows off his while i work on mine, (he knows that his >>as of right now<< is better then mine) so as he passes and gives me the smile i let him go with a :jerkit:....everyone i know tells me that the MKII Supras are nothing, that they're just old "wannabes" in the world of import, come spring ima show them how an MKII can beat them in everything, speed & style~ .............§hadow

well, the celica styling would look great if your gonna actually do it up RIGHT.

8 or 10 point functional rollbar, sheet metal stripped out interior, fire extinguisher, racing seat and harness, hood pins, some wide (10 or 11") slicks on painted IMSA/nascar steelies.

of course, a pristine engine bay with a firebreathing 2jz or 1uz or 3sgt would definitely help

This car...

...has a bad case of FUGLY going on. I agree with what 4SFED said; it's got 81 Capri written all over it.

I think I built something similar to it out of Legos when I was a kid. :puke:

Dont listen to them, they are swayed due to the first car being riced as shit. If you somehow found a widebody kit and tossed it on your car, kept it clean, and did all the other mods to go with it, aka 11" rims all round. Every single one of these nay-sayers would be eating shit once you got it done.

I dream of having a prepared mk2, widebody kit and all.

Everyone has an opinion Billy, and like it or not there are several of us who think that car looks like crap.

11" rims with a wide body kit? Turn the MkII into a fat-ass whale, and put that much tire on the street...you'd better plan on spending some money under the hood (and I'm not talking about things to make the engine pretty either).

Every single one? I DON'T THINK SO Billy. I like the look and the lines of the stock MkII. The only way that any ONE of us would be eating shit, is if each of us took a bite out of the side of the car once it was done.
