I saw one of these yesterday for the 1st time. Kind of ugly IMHO. I sure hope the backseat is comfortable because they ruined the roof lines on that car putting those doors in. Should be a great AutoX car though, especially if it handles better than an FD like I've read somewhere. I wonder if it goes into A stock. Did anyone see the one that is getting the 3 rotor turbo installed. I've got to admit that it takes some guts and bucks to rip apart a new car and swap a motor.

It's down more than that, man. Dynoing at ~175 when it should be at ~213. That's a huge difference.

I guess thats what happens when the " big three " buy/partner up with real car companies. They lied about HP figures in the 60's. Whats to stop them know, not to mention how ugly the cars are the RX8 wont win any beauty contests and how about the jaguar/contour..FORD sucks.

I honestly like the RX8's, ive seen a few on the road with the factory bodykits on them and they look real clean, and less horsepower or not, i think its gonnabe a great track/ autox car

I saw a RX8 breakdown only a few miles from the dealer in Auburn. The propective buyer and his wife were standing by the road while the salesman waved traffic by. Too bad for Mazda it looked like nice car.

the rx-8 isn't ugly by any means. i can bet you that many more people will look at a mkII and call it ugly, rather than peopel doing the same to the rx8.
