Hey all, I took the seats out of my car and found that there is a plug connected to the bottom of the driver seat, the passenger seat doesn’t have one. I’m just wondering if anyone knows what it could be for, the seat has no power controls or anything.
Also asking about automatic seatbelts, the driver side automatic seatbelt works like once a week completely randomly. Someone told me the limit switch needs adjusted but I don’t know where that is or what it looks like
Anything helps, thanks.

Maybe the plug is for heating? Cars sold in Sweden it seems was sold with this installed at least. But i have on both driver and passenger side. It says in the instruction manual that it is activated if it is colder that 13C outside.

Since this isn't a Mk2 you're asking about is it for the seat belt warning light? If the buckle is mounted to the seat you need a switch in the buckle.
