dont do seat covers, unless you mean getting your seats reupholstered.

id probably look for some P type buckets, as ive heard theyre a lil more sporty and close than the L type, and i love my P type seats.

ive got a blue passenger side id let go real cheap, if you wanted to do some fabric dyeing. :)

Well, I wouldn't say not to do seat covers at all! If you do decide on seat covers, make sure they are custom made like the Wet Okole seat covers. Of course, if you look around long enough, you'd probably find complete seats for the same price or possibly less!
Wet Okole's covers is what I have in my truck and I love them! They fit perfect and are easily cleaned. They are waterproof so your seats underneath won't get screwed up either. The price is the only drawback...
For just the front covers, you're looking at around $250, and another $200 for the rear IIRC! For $500.00, you can probably have a local upholstery shop replace some sections that are worn out if the majority of the seat is in good shape. Have them do it in vinyl, nowadays it looks just like leather anyways...
Just my own 2 pennies!
