would i be able to put a driver side seat on the passenger side?

i was thinking all i would have to do is switch the seat rail so the handles on the side are on the right side and the other controls for the side support and lumbar would be fine were they are.

then i'll take the other seats and maked cool gaming seats for my room, i love my ps2. a seat in my room like that would probably be good for even more fun things too

yes and no. Both seats will fit on either side but one of the bracket holes won't line up quite right and will require a little grinding and bending to get the bolts to line up. If you do this though the seat won't sit quite in the right spot, it will be too close to the PS door but the door will still close and all, it just looks off. The rails are a part of the frame of the seat, you will have to switch the entire frame. Basicly all of the foam and cloth is interchanable from DS to PS, but none of the metal is. What was the point of this? If its just the lumbar bladders your trying to get on your passenger seat then just get a spare DS seat and strip the bladders and controls off it and put them on your PS, this is by far the easiest way to go, they will attach just fine. The foam in the back sections are identical. With out cutting and rewelding the mounting brackets its impossible to get the DS's bolster and thigh bolster adjustablilty over to the PS, unless you can find a jdm drivers seat

When I had my 82 I did just that-Bought a drivers side seat from a yard and moved drivers seat over-On my 82 the brackets made the seat lean over a little, as well as being in wrong place-Bougt a Pass seat 3 months later :( Mike
