Good news / Bad news.
I asked about some Simmons F series modular wheels. Not sure about what rear offset i sould choose yet, but here is the price quote.
What do Forgelines and Braids cost in these sizes?
Simmons F-series for (2) 17x8 4x114.3 bolt pattern / 0mm offset and (2) 17x9 4x114.3 bolt pattern / -8mm offset are priced at $2515.00 delivered to your door in Chicago, IL USA.

im trying to remember, but i seem to recall the group buy on braids at about 1600 bucks for 17" wheels...
id wait till some of the guys who bought them chime in to be sure, but im sure it was in that range, which was of course, a discounted price, but still cheaper.

Yes, $1600 for a set of 17" Braids (including shipping) are about what I paid. Actually, it was around 1497 Euros. George worked really hard to get a deal on wheels and shipping. Check out www.garagedynamics.com as they carry Braid wheels.

If anyone is still interested, we can still get the braids. Chances are unless somethings changed we can still offer better pricing than Garage Dynamics.
As I've said Earlier, now is not the time to be buying rims from Europe...Eurodollar is just killing the $us. Back when we did the GB 1us=1.06Euro...no it's 1.24....just horrid man.
Nomatter who you get the Braids from the Price will reflect the current crappy exchange rate.
I've had at least 3-4 people who seem seriously interested in a set...might get them to set up another group buy for the spring.

Took us a while last time...main problem was language barrier, but now that I've got it all figured out... assuming everyone knows what they want shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks.
