To my MK2 Supra community peeps, we have an MK2 Category for every event this year.

- MK2 Dyno: Defending Champ 2 years is Bob Sully - WHO WILL CHALLENGE HIM
- MK2 Drag Race: Last year was the first year we were able to award this, because an MK2 actually decided to run. Javi Parada ran a high 13 to take the award.

- MK2 Show n Shine 1st, 2nd and 3rd = lets get over 20 MK2's to the event this year!!!!



Supras In Vegas (SIV) 2016 marks the 6th year of the largest Toyota Supra gathering in the world. We have added a twist for our show and shine day for 2016, in collaboration with Street Driven Tour, to provide a festival of Automotive speed and fun.

The Goal for SIV 2016, is to see more of our East Coast and International Supra Family attend, hit 200 Supras and continue to bring in the great people that make up our strong community.

***** OVERALL SUPRA PARTICIPATION CLASS ****

- This was a great category we introduced in 2015, with 24 Supras participating. It is simple participate in all events, earn points and take home the Overall 2016 Supra Award.

Here is the breakdown:
- Scenic Drive: Automatic 20 points for full Participation
- Dyno: 20 Points for Running your car / Bonus 10 point for 1st in class / 7 for 2nd / 5 for 3rd
- Virtual Works meet - 10 Points for Participation (Arrive by 10 PM)
- Show - Judged Possible 25 points maximum
- Drag Race - 15 Point for Running your car / Bonus 10 point for 1st in class / 7 for 2nd / 5 for 3rd

Total Max Points Possible: 110
- Overall Participation Registration: $230.00 (Includes: Show & Drag spectator admission for 2 / Car entry for Show and Racer. Car entry to Drag event and Dyno Challenge Registration / 1 Lunch)

Event Hotel: EXCALIBUR: They have been a great host for 6 years now and we have reserved a block of rooms at the Excalibur once again. Check in is can be as early as Monday, September 19, Check out as late as Tuesday. September 27, at the discounted SIV rate.

Room total is about $365.00 if you check in on Sept. 21, 2016 and Check out Sept. 25. This includes tax and resort fees (all Vegas hotels charge this now on the strip). If you arrive on Thursday and check out, the total will be less.

As last year, Excalibur will provide us with our own parking area with added Security. We will have added security permanently posted in the event car area. To help accommodate this, we will continue with the same curfew from 2015:

*** You can arrive and park at any time throughout the weekend, but you will not be able to drive your Supra or Trailer out of the parking area from Midnight – 6am *** throughout the dates of the event. ***

Thanks for the link. I don't go there very often, but I guess I should check out their MK-II section. You never know where you're going to find good tips and information!

The car photographs much better than she views in person. She would have looked even nicer if I'd washed her and got the spoiler/sunshade back on.

As I told everybody there this year, my battle cry became "It's Cosmetic! Screw it! I'M GOING TO VEGAS!"....
