Well, I was supposed to take my Supra out for a spin for the first time (first time legally, that is....), today, but what happens.. well ... the battery light is on and it stays that way no matter what I do.
After a 2 hour drive, the voltage of the battery has dropped from 12,50 to 10,2, causing my digi dash to almost fade out....
I assume its the alternator that went south...
Whats the most easy way to replace it? Take it out from underneath? How much does a used one usually cost? I know a guy who can rebuild it completely for about $60. He's currently rebuiling my ford escort alternator.. yeah, I busted that one too yesterday -- 2 alternators going south in just 2 days... f*ck*ng unlucky
