I talked to Chris the evening - the soon to be ex-owner of this car. He has received a deposit and is supposed to be wired the money for this car on Monday.

He said he sold it to a Japanese guy out in California. Apparently he owns a company called Beverly Motors(I can double check on that) and this guy also bought the light blue '84 with 9k miles on it for $12k out of Florida - remember that one?

Think this guy may be shipping them back to the homeland?

He probably knows that Hollywood is about to feature a MK2 in an upcoming TV series. I just made that up, but that would certainly give our cars a boost.
