hey guys a couple weeks ago i just purchased four tokico shocks and came to realized that i bought the front shocks (just the inserts in the strut) and i just won an auction for some eibach springs....now am i able to use the stock strut housing with the new spring and insert? or do i have to buy new strut housings...i'm now broke......so if i have to i will, but i have bushings and springs and shocks...i just don't know...any help would be greatly appreciative.

sweet, thanks a lot, i was having a bunch of people tell me that i couldn't use my old strut housing....(not you guys), and i was set on the fact that i could...so thanks for the input, when my springs come in i will be using them....woo hoo....i'm soo excited for my suspension..

Gera, dont forgot to add either antifreeze or light weight oil around the strut when installed in the housing. Instructions should tell you how many ounces.

thanks aj, i was wondering how i would get them installed...i figured i'd have to lube them some how, i'm gonna try to replace them all at work since i have the equipment there to use...but i don't know when i'll have the time.....considering school starts up in a week....blah....and my springs aren't here yet.

you guys are great thanks again for all the help

Just out of curiosity why do you put ATF in the strut housing? I know it's done and I just left the old fluid in mine but I'm curious as to why? rust prevention? sound deadening?

Take up the air space in the strut and cooling.
