I recently picked up a 1984 supra.
It will start for a second and then act like it runs out of fuel. It has spark and the computer is pulsing the injectors. Has anyone encountered this before?

The car ran five years ago and then sat without being touched

Edit: with the fuel return line pinched, and the gas pedal on the floor, it will idle rough. Definitely a fuel pressure problem, but I still don't understand why flooring it helps

you probably have a major intake leak.

by the AFM, (just after the air filter) there is a T shape yellow 2 contacts connector.
Put a jumper (or paper clip) between the 2 contacts and try again.
If it keeps running, either you have an intake leak, or your COR relay is malfunctionning.

Problem solved but I'm not sure how. I think pinching the return line cleared some junk out of the injectors. Just started running perfectly.

You likely had a few injectors that were stuck. It happens when they sit a long time, especially after having this e10 garbage fuel run through them.
