I guess I'll eat my words now: just purchased the True-trac today.

nothing wrong with a true trac, they are solid units, no clutchs to wear out, etc. The 4x4 guys use and abuse them, and they hold up and work good (for what they are; most off road people prefer a solid locker). Hope it works out for you.
