I read the whole thing. I think the dude was/is that stupid. As many times as I have considered answering a post, that sarcasticly, kinda makes me glad I haven't. Probably have come close a few times though. :wink:

I Know Ive asked/done some stoopid things-Hell, Im tryin to scrape some overspray off my car right now-I think/hope this was an internet urban legend-If not-Ive met some people in the auto repair biz like both those guys-TOO MUCH :roll: (Maybe I should put away the rubbing compound and go for the 40grit-works pretty fast!) :twisted: Mike P

I read that this morning and laughed so hard my coffee came out of my nose.
That's classic. Although, if it is true, I do feel bad for the poor bastard with the sanded bumper. I'm sure some questions I've asked (and will continue to ask...) might seem like common sense to most guys on this forum.
Still, sandpaper? Those responses were beautiful....

Stephen... your not thinking of going VW too? Its bad enough Mike did it... to think, the owner AND the designer of CS.com driving in "farfrumthinkin" mobiles is just too miuch to bear.... PLEASE...say it ain't so... :puppydog:

Wow! I cant believe that that guy did that to his new car, hell ive done it to my supra (knowing what i was doing) but it was to prepare for bondo. I think it could be a hoax, and a dang good one
