yeah, im new in the supra scene.....i dont know whats going on...someone help me out....maybe help me or let me know of the next meet, or if there is a family/group out there looking for a lone ranger.
To give you an idea, I'm near Hershey. I'd say about four hours. I picked a town right across the NY border and looked it up on Yahoo's maps. Since they have me driving all the way west to Harrisburg, before turning north, I'll cut half an hour off their time of 4 hours and 28 minutes.
lol now if you speed does that cut the times in half...man no offense to anyone that lives in pa, but YOUR ROADS FRICKKIN SUCK MAJOR BOOTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I had to go get my 85 from there and the interstates and turnpikes are soo small and then those exit ramps....i couldn't wait to get back to ohio.....lol
well it all depends on what roads you take...i live in the country so i can drift mah damn car as much as i want....and alot of these country roads are long straight aways also...so are we meeting anywhere soon?
My biggest complaint about Pa roads is that they don't properly fix potholes on Rt-30 and the highways. 222 is near pristine and thats why a lot of street racing happens on that road. Another problem with that where the road meets a bridge you better be careful because there is always a 1/2" difference in road height as well as the change from blacktop to concrete.
Well people...it sounds like im in the middle of everything....ill start a new thread and we'll take a vote to see if anyone wants to get something in PA going.........thanks everyone...
Nope, I think most of the shows are over for now. There might be something at the York Fairgrounds or Harrisburg Farm Show Complex in the late fall. I remember there being something happening around the end of October or midway through November last year.
HAHAHAHA im liking the sound of this.....and if anyone would be interested....y dont we try to get something going...well find like a fire hall or some kinda big fair grounds....ask about reserving it...and just have a big meet and disasemble ricers
York County has lots of County and State parks, plenty of great places to meet. As for reserving the fair grounds, I think not. It would be cool though if we all met up somewhere, went to someone's house (again, not sure about mine), and then went out to a Hooters or bowling or something.
there is an import meet....it is this weekend...saturday 4pm to 11pm Fort Washington.....Expo Center.....http://www.importrevelution.com Import Rev.....keep posted if anyone is interested...im thinking about heading there....putting on a drift show in the parking lot for free....
Think of every overplayed car you can; S2000, WRX, NSX, Focus, etc. all doing burnouts, donuts, speeding, and blaring their crappy "thug rap" (five guys in a purple Integra bobing their heads to 50 cent). Then think of most of the people attending the Carlisle import show getting drunk two nights in a row. The throw in a gun being fired in a hotel parking lot, and a few various counts of weapon possession. That's what the police said happened over that weekend.
